About the Artist


Nancy Falk has been playing the piano since the age of 6. At the age of 16, she became a piano teacher at Bert Lynn Music Studio, and the organist for her church. 


She studied organ with Rob Landes, a widely known pianist, organist, arranger, conductor and published composer. In 1975, she was awarded a music scholarship to the University of Houston where she studied with Dr. Robert Jones. Nancy graduated with honors from the University of Houston in 1979 with a degree in organ performance.




Nancy was keyboardist and vocalist for the Houston band Doppelgänger from 1975 to 1983. She also served part time at churches in the greater Houston area in addition to pursuing a corporate career. Since her corporate retirement, Nancy continues to serve part time in music ministry and has begun giving back to the community by volunteering in music therapy and teaching beginning pianists.




Nancy currently serves as music minister at Bethel Church UCC in midtown Houston. She volunteers regularly at Amazing Place, a center providing fellowship, memory care and wellness to people with early to moderate Alzheimer's Disease or dementia.
